Evacuations were considered Monday night in the City of Shasta Lake, but they were deemed unnecessary by Shasta Lake Fire Protection District. The fire broke out a little after 5:30PM in a wooded area near the Twin Lakes Mobile Estates south of Shasta Dam Boulevard. The fire was held at around 3 acres. The cause is under investigation.
