A young man killed over the weekend in a motorcycle crash on the western outskirts of Redding has been identified by the coroners office as 24-year-old Leland Robert Foreman the Second of Anderson. At around 6:30PM Saturday evening Foreman was riding a 2019 Kawasaki southbound on Texas Springs Road south of Montgomery Ranch Road at 30 to 40 miles an hour when he lost control and laid the bike down. He and the motorcycle then slid across the opposing lane and shoulder before colliding with a tree. Foreman was not wearing a helmet and he suffered fatal injuries.
