Driver Arrested After Broken Windshield Leads To Traffic Stop

A man whose criminal record prohibits him from having a gun has been busted twice in two weeks for gun possession. At 7:15PM Monday night Redding Police made a traffic stop on a car with a broken windshield. The driver, 24-year-old Joey Locascio, had outstanding warrants and a suspended license. The passenger, 23-year-old Erik Morris, is on probation and on July 14th he was arrested after a vehicle pursuit and charged for being a felon with a gun. He was released 3 days later with an ankle monitor. During a search of the car Monday night a loaded revolver was reportedly found under the passenger seat.
