Another chronic offender will be off the streets for a while. Marcus Stephen Lego was named a chronic offender by the Anderson Police Department due to his numerous violations, including theft, trespassing, public intoxication, and driving under the influence. These cases are in addition to 20 other calls for service that Lego has generated in the past two years. Lego pleaded no contest in three separate misdemeanor cases involving theft, public intoxication, and driving under the influence. Lego will go to jail for nine months, then will serve three years of probation. He’ll also be prohibited from being at at Tower Mart, the Anderson Teen Center, and South City Park in Anderson. Furthermore, Lego has a probation condition to not use or possess alcohol, or be in any store where alcohol is the primary item sold.
