A building burned down late Wednesday night in the Pine Ridge area of Shingletown. It was first reported as a vegetation fire, but fire crews arrived to find a fully involved structure on Lisa Glen Court off Mobile Park Drive. Firefighters were delayed by a locked gate, and once they gained access they had to use caution because they could hear ammunition exploding inside. The vegetation fire was contained to a half acre of timber and grass.
