There’s been another traffic fatality in Tehama County, according the Red Bluff CHP Office. On Wednesday evening around 6:35PM, a Dodge Ram pickup heading westbound on Newville Road, north of Stony Creek went off the road. It rolled several times and ended up in a field. A woman passenger and an infant in the pickup were ejected. The woman, 20-year-old Katelyn McCabe of Corning was killed, as well as the driver, 35-year-old Victor Lowery of Corning. The one-year-old was taken by air ambulance to U.C. Davis with major injuries. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
