On Wednesday the Anderson Police Department hosted a Regional Child Abduction Response Team training exercise throughout the city. CART Team members are law enforcement officers, detectives, and support staff from Shasta, Tehama, and Siskiyou Counties, who’ve received specialized training in the response to missing or abducted children. CART team members investigated a mock child abduction. Teams conducted area searches, interviews, and other investigative techniques during the exercise. Community members volunteered to act as witnesses.
