A crash in Trinity County on Saturday killed a Hayfork woman, according to the Trinity Journal. The CHP told the paper that 25-year-old Krystal Oteiza was driving a Toyota 4Runner on Highway 3 south of Hayfork Dump Road when she lost control, left the roadway and hit a tree and a fence before coming to rest in a field. Oteiza was pronounced dead at the scene. The CHP believes alcohol was a factor in the crash.
