AR-15, High Capacity Magazines, And Drugs Found During Traffic Stop

Corning Police arrested three men after they raised suspicions Wednesday night. At 11:20PM an officer saw Silver Garcia and Darian Morgan, both from Washington, and Kevin Ramon Enriquez of Mexico looking like they were up to something at the Shell Gas Station on Solano Street. The officer followed them and made a traffic stop at the Liquor Cabinet. Officers could see a 9 millimeter handgun on the front seat and the men were ordered out of the car. Garcia, who was driving, gave a fake name and had no identification. His identity was discovered during the booking process. He tried to run but was caught after a short foot chase, suffering a deep cut on his forehead. A search of the car reportedly turned up the 9 millimeter, along with 2 loaded 17 round magazines, an AR-15 short barrel assault rifle with 5 loaded high capacity 30 and 40 round magazines, 73 grams of methamphetamine, $1200 cash and other various contraband. Garcia is a wanted felon from Washington. All three were booked into jail.
