Lack of Turn Signal Leads to Arrest

A woman who likes to drive fast apparently doesn’t like to use her turn signals. Mount Shasta Police nabbed a woman who reportedly led officers on two high speed chases. On September 20th, an officer observed a car driving at high speeds though the city. Due to unsafe conditions, the pursuit was canceled and a case was filed with the D-A’s office, requesting a warrant. Sunday morning, the same officer noticed the same car making a left turn without signaling. A traffic stop was attempted, but the driver sped off again, reaching speeds of 120 miles an hour. Her luck ran out, when with the assistance of C-H-P, a spike strip was deployed near Louie Road, which disabled the car. The driver, Jamey Lynn Gregoire, was booked into the Siskiyou County Jail.
