First District Congressman Doug LaMalfa wants access to testimony from 3 committees investigating President Trump. On Monday, LaMalfa sent letters to the chairpersons of the House Intelligence Committee, Foreign Affairs Committee, and Oversight & Reform Committee. The Congressman wants copies of anything related to the impeachment hearings, including transcripts, documents, records and other materials. His letters requested the materials be delivered by Noon Tuesday. Several hours after that, LaMalfa’s Office said the information had not been delivered. Republican Whip Steve Scalise has filed a rule change to allow all members of congress access to impeachment documents.
