Woman Suffers Only Minor Injuries In Rollover On I-5

Traffic backed up for miles after a rollover on Southbound Interstate 5 in Northern Tehama County Thursday afternoon. Shortly after 3 O’clock an SUV rolled multiple times near the rest area north of Red Bluff. The vehicle landed up the embankment off the roadway. Several big rigs and other drivers stopped to assist the woman who was driving the mangled vehicle. She suffered minor injuries but was very shaken up and rescue personnel had to stabilize the vehicle on the hillside before removing her. Two dogs riding with her also had to be secured. Traffic backed up to Sunset Hills, though both lanes were reopened by around 4:10PM.
