A person died in a house fire Sunday night northeast of Redding. Cal-Fire responded at around 7:30AM to Charron Lane, located in the Intermountain Road area north of Highway 299. The home was destroyed. One person was hospitalized with burns and another person perished in the fire. The body was recovered from the remnants of the home Monday.
