Deputies Say Missing Happy Camp Woman May Be At Risk

A woman reported missing from Siskiyou County could be at risk. 24-year-old Courtney Irene Culver is from Happy Camp. Her mother reported her missing Thursday. Her last known sighting was October 24th at the Mechanics Bank in Happy Camp. She was with a former boyfriend, Terrance McCovey. Culver told a family member she was going to Eureka, but she was due back home last Saturday. She last texted family members last Friday. Siskiyou County Sheriff’s investigators say that various circumstances suggest Culver may be in trouble. She’s a 24-year-old Native American, 5-foot-9 and 118 pounds with long brown hair and brown eyes. McCovey is a 36-year-old Native American, 5-foot-6 and 125 pounds with short black hair, brown eyes and tattoos on his neck. They may be in a dark colored 2007 Ford Escape Hybrid with tinted windows, license plate number 8-E-P-A-7-7-0. Photos are on the KQMS Facebook page.
