Ranch Fire Now 95% Contained

The only active major fire still being staffed by Cal-Fire right now is the Ranch Fire 20 miles southwest of Red Bluff, and it’s virtually defeated with 95% containment. The steep, rugged terrain has caused four confirmed injuries. 2,534 acres have burned but no structures were damaged. The Ranch Fire started on Sunday of last week near the previous Red Bank Fire in a remote area of Tehama County. 337 personnel are still on scene.
