A mobile camper and a shed were destroyed by fire in North Redding Saturday evening. Redding Fire responded a little after 6:30PM to the fire just west of Shasta Lanes off east Lake Boulevard. The camper was on fire, with flames spreading to a 10 by 15 foot storage shed and surrounding vegetation. The structures were a complete loss, valued at around $2,000. The cause was determined to be the improper use of extension cords bringing electricity into the camper.
