Someone died in a house fire in Chico over the weekend. Chico Fire Department was dispatched to a home on Sarah Avenue a little before Midnight Saturday. They encountered a well involved structure and made an aggressive exterior attack. When they were able to get inside for a search, firefighters found a person, who was declared dead after being carried from the burning home.
