Redding Firefighters Help Injured Man Hang Christmas Lights

Sometimes it’s the small gestures of kindness that mean the most. Bob Robison was making some adjustments to the Christmas lights on his Redding home a couple days ago when he fell off of his ladder. When Redding Firefighters arrived at the house they found he was seriously injured, suffering six fractured and displaced ribs, a collapsed lung, an open finger fracture, and a couple of open wounds requiring sutures. Bob was taken away by ambulance and will be hospitalized for a few days. After the ambulance left, the Redding Firefighters noticed that when Bob fell, he brought the Christmas lights down with him. They didn’t have any pending calls, so the firefighters climbed on the roof and put the lights back up on the house. The family is impressed and grateful.
