There was apparently a fatal shooting in Hayfork Wednesday morning. The Trinity County Sheriff’s Office has not released any information on the incident, according to the Trinity Journal, but Sheriff Tim Saxon has confirmed a gun-related homicide occurred. Sheriff’s office investigators and justice department officials are still looking into the killing.
