Man Sentenced To 150 Days In Jail For Assaulting Family Members

A man who assaulted his wife and daughter has been given a fairly light sentence for his crimes. 42-year-old Joshua Williams was arrested December 12th by the Tehama County Sheriff’s Office and has been convicted of assault likely to produce great bodily injury. Williams was arguing with his wife and knocked her down several times. He left their home, but returned a short time later and tried to enter his adult daughter’s room, but she wouldn’t let him in. He broke down the door and attacked her until she fought him off. Later Williams threw hydrogen peroxide into his wife’s face and eyes. He’s been sentenced to 150 days in jail and 5 years formal probation.
