A Red Bluff resident is glad for her investment in a surveillance camera. On Wednesday afternoon she got an alert from her “Ring” brand doorbell with a built-in camera. She was able to watch as a man knocked on her door repeatedly, peeked through the window, and eventually looked under the doormat, where he found a key to the door. The woman called Red Bluff Police, who got to the house in time to find 48-year-old Charles Cope inside. He was arrested for burglary and outstanding warrants.
