A Redding school was briefly locked down Wednesday while a young teenager had a temper tantrum. Redding Police were called to Sequoia Middle School 11:47AM. A 13-year-old boy had assaulted a staff member, made threats, and was jumping on cars and throwing rocks in the parking lot. At 11:52AM officers arrived and took the boy into custody and the lockdown was lifted. The staff member was treated for minor injuries at the hospital. The boy was booked into juvenile hall.
