A boost in rates for some City of Redding services will be considered at Tuesday night’s city council meeting. The proposal is for a 12% increase in solid waste and 16% increases in both water and wastewater. Electric is not included. The rate increases would be implemented gradually over a four year period starting next month. Notice of Tuesday’s public hearing has already been sent to all Redding utility customers.
