A homeless man was arrested Sunday morning for burning a pile of his girlfriend’s clothing. Redding Firefighters were called at around 8AM to the wooded area behind Lowe’s off East Cypress Avenue. They found a man standing next to a burning pallet with clothing stacked on it. He apparently was upset that his girlfriend had left their camp sometime during the night and had not returned. He was arrested for arson and maliciously burning property.
