Fire danger is upon us. Cal-Fire crews have been dispatched to several vegetation fires in Shasta County over the last couple of days, and most if not all of them apparently were escaped control burns. An escaped burn pile near Oak Run Road and Murphy Lane on Monday rekindled again Tuesday. It was held to about an acre. There was also a small fire on Zogg Mine Road in the Igo area and another in the Macarthur area, as well as a few small fires in the Anderson area.
