A Happy Valley man has been convicted of killing his wife. 64-year-old Kenneth Vorreiter killed Lori Lee Vorreiter on November 6th of 2018. Shasta County Sheriff’s Deputies were sent to the home on Pine Street in the Olinda area because a friend of Vorreiter’s had reported that Vorreiter might be suicidal after he told him on the phone that he had assaulted his wife earlier in the day and she may be dead. When deputies arrived at the home they found Lori deceased. Tuesday a jury found Vorreiter guilty of second degree murder and associated domestic violence charges. Sentencing is set for March 6th.
