Red Bluff Woman Among Quarantined U.S. Citizens At Travis Air Force Base

The Red Bluff woman who’s been stuck on a cruse ship in Yokohama Harbor is back on American soil. Late Sunday night, Wanda Schuler arrived at Travis Air Force Base aboard one of two chartered 747’s that returned 340 passengers that were aboard the Diamond Princess to the U.S. 40 passengers on the ship opted to stay behind in Japan. The evacuated passengers had almost completed the mandatory 14-day quarantine on the ship. Now, the clock starts ticking again with another 14 days of isolation. 14 people flown back are confirmed to have the Coronavirus, but were allowed on the flights because they have no symptoms. Schuler says it took 23 hours from the time she left her cabin on the ship in Japan to reach her new room for the next 2 weeks.
