Humboldt County health officials say a case of the Coronavirus has been detected there. One person has contracted Covid-19 and another person who had close contact is being monitored. Both residents are in self-isolation at home and being monitored by the “Public Health Communicable Disease and Surveillance and Control Unit”. This marks the first confirmed case of the Coronavirus in Humboldt County. There have been at least 8 other cases in California, including one reported Friday in Sacramento County.
