A vegetation fire west of Red Bluff burned an estimated 75 acres Sunday. Dubbed the “Beegum Fire”, it’s located off of Highway 36 and Tedoc Road. The blaze was 90% contained by Cal-Fire crews early Sunday afternoon. The cause is unclear, though it may have been a controlled burn that escaped.
