Man Sentenced To 7 Years For Domestic Violence

A Redding man has been sentenced in a felony domestic violence case. 40-year-old Norman Anderson the Third was arrested last April on seven felony counts. He had repeatedly abused the victim, and on one occasion he straddled her, hit her multiple times, threatened to kill her, and strangled her until she lost consciousness. The very next day he strangled her again, and again threatened to kill her. On Monday Anderson pled guilty to felony domestic violence with a special allegation of causing great bodily injury. He was sentenced immediately to seven years in state prison.
