Haven Humane Society is still very eager to find forever homes for their many dogs and cats, and the adoption fees have been slashed, but they’re taking some precautions just like everybody else. Pictures of potential pets are posted to their Facebook Page and the Petfinder link at havenhumane.org. When a choice pet is found, an adopter can make an appointment at 241-1653 to go in and meet their possible new best friend. Adoption fees have been reduced to just $25. The weekly vaccine clinic is canceled for now, but vaccinations, as well as spay and neuter services, are still offered by appointment. People are encouraged to do their dog licensing by mail. And for now, there will be no pet of the week visiting our radio station.
