The Shasta County Sheriff’s Office is suspending some services for at least two weeks. Those include new concealed weapons permit applications, fingerprinting services, in person requests for criminal reports and all other in-person services. The office will continue to provide CCW renewals, vehicle releases, repossessions, sex offender registrant services, other civil services and requests for criminal reports via mail or email if accompanied with a copy of a state-issued photo I.D. Hours for the civil window are reduced to 11AM to 3PM Monday through Thursday and 8AM to 12PM on Friday. The Records Unit can be reached at 245-6000.
