Man Arrested After Infant Suffers Chemical Burns

A Corning man is in Tehama County Jail, accused of brutally beating his infant child. Corning Police were informed by Enloe Hospital after 2-month-old baby was brought in Wednesday with numerous broken bones, internal injuries, chemical burns and head trauma. The baby has been transferred to U.C. Davis and is in stable condition. The father, 21-year-old Joshua Cornsilk, has been brought in for questioning and remains in custody charged with multiple felony counts.
