Update: 1st COVID-19 Death Reported In Tehama County

Tehama County has reported the 1st death from COVID-19. According to the Tehama County Health Services Agency, the patient was a man in his 60’s and died Monday evening. He tested positive for the virus April 1st. 167 people tested negative for Coronavirus in Tehama County.

After four consecutive days with no new Coronavirus cases in Shasta County, a man in his 50’s tested positive Monday to bring the new total to 25. Three people have died from the virus. Six others have recovered, leaving 16 active cases in isolation. Five of those patients are hospitalized, two of them in I.C.U. 721 COVID tests in Shasta County have shown negative results. 51 people are currently under quarantine orders due to possible exposure.

Butte County has added one to total 14. Siskiyou County has 5, but 3 have recovered. Humboldt County has 50. Glenn County has 3. There are still none reported in Trinity, Lassen or Modoc Counties.
