A Redding man reported missing Tuesday night has been found in Oregon. Just before 8 O’clock Diane Hayes reported that her husband, 71-year-old Geary Hayes, had left their home on Copper Canyon Road in their Ford pickup. She was concerned because Geary has Dementia and doesn’t drive, or have a license. Shasta County Sheriff’s Deputies issued a statewide Silver Alert and combed the area roads. At 3 O’clock Wednesday morning an Ashland Police Officer found Geary at a rest area off Interstate 5. He was cold and confused but in good health.
