A man and his dog were injured in a residential structure fire between Red Bluff and Corning early Thursday morning, according to the Red Bluff Daily News. Cal-Fire was called at around 4:20AM to Bonnie Court, off Gyle Road a couple of miles west of Interstate 5. They arrived to find a large modified double wide mobile home fully involved in fire. The resident was transported to a hospital with unspecified injuries. His dog was also hurt. The home was a complete loss, with an estimated value of $80,000. Cal-Fire says the cause was electrical in nature.
