19-Year-Old Dies In Crash In Tehama County

A teenager was killed when he rolled his car in the Corning area early Sunday morning. At around 3AM, a 19-year-old man was driving a 2001 Honda Civic eastbound on Corning Road at an unknown speed. West of Freeman Schoolhouse Road, the car went into a curve and drifted onto the gravel shoulder. As the car made contact with the pavement again, it rolled over. The driver was not wearing a seatbelt and he was ejected from the car, suffering fatal injuries. His name is withheld until his family is notified.
