Recreation Sites Remain Closed On Shasta Trinity National Forest

As the weather warms people may want to head out to the Shasta Trinity National Forest, but developed recreation sites remain closed to the public due to the Coronavirus. The closure order was enacted on March 25th, and is likely to remain in effect through Mid-May. This closure excludes trails, trailheads and public boat launches. A number of services have been reduced. No trash removal is offered, and all toilet facilities are closed. Visitors are asked to avoid high risk activities because law enforcement and search and rescue operations may be limited. A full list of closure is available on the Shasta Trinity Forest website.
