Wednesday Update: 31 Cases Of COVID-19

There was one new case of COVID-19 reported in Shasta County Tuesday. A woman in her 50’s was tested positive and is isolating at home. The number of confirmed cases is now 31. 1373 cases have tested negative for the virus. 4 people have died from the virus. The number of patients isolating is now 5, including 1 who is hospitalized. 20 people are quarantined due to possible exposure.

Tehama County’s only confirmed Coronavirus patient has died. Butte County has had 16 cases, with 6 still active. Siskiyou County has had 5, but all have recovered. Glenn County has had 5, with just one still active. There have been 53 cases in Humboldt County, where they’ve implemented mandatory masks in public. There are still none reported in Trinity, Lassen or Modoc Counties.
