Modoc County is reopening for business Friday. Earlier this week, Modoc County Supervisors approved the “Reopening Modoc County Strategic Plan”, which allows all businesses to reopen under certain stipulations. Those include maintaining 6 foot physical distancing, washing hands frequently, and allowing no large gatherings where distancing is not maintained. Non-essential travel is discouraged, and potential visitors from outside Modoc County are strongly encouraged to stay away. Modoc County has not had a single positive COVID-19 test.
