An angry man with a shotgun was reportedly taken into custody early Monday morning with the help of an RPD K9. At 1:30AM, officers were called to a home on Churn Creek Road, where 27-year-old Marcial Lawson was reportedly tearing off the interior bedroom doors while armed with a shotgun. When they arrived, Lawson was standing in the parking lot. He was reportedly erratic and belligerent, challenging officers and throwing a glass bottle at them before running into a nearby home. He was ordered to come outside, which he eventually did, but continued to ignore commands until Hank the K9 took him down. A sawed off shotgun was apparently found in his car. After being treated for his dog bites, Lawson was booked into jail on several charges.
