Cottonwood Rodeo Will Be Held Sunday

The Cottonwood Rodeo could be the only rodeo in the state that hasn’t been canceled, according to producer Jeff Davis. It will take place this Sunday in Cottonwood, but it will be scaled back quite a bit. No food or alcohol will be sold, the usual parade that accompanies the rodeo will not happen, and it will not be a sanctioned competition, meaning anyone can compete. Davis says if authorities decide to cite him, he’ll pay the fine. The rodeo gets underway at 1 O’clock Sunday.
