A Redding teenager was armed when police arrested him for a domestic violence incident Wednesday night. At 7:20PM, officers were called to Delta Street near Caldwell Park by the victim, who reported that her ex-boyfriend, 19-year-old Richard Anthony Pangelina, had assaulted her and left on foot. He was found near the baseball fields a short distance away, allegedly with a loaded 45 caliber handgun in his waistband. Pangelina is already on probation for possession of a concealed firearm, and his ex-girlfriend had a restraining order against him. He was booked into jail on several charges.
