Mayor Gives Update On City’s Response To COVID-19

Some City of Redding officials have given an update on how the city is dealing with the developing pandemic situation. Mayor Adam McElvain says the city has issued $16 Million worth of utility credits and assistance, and they’re about to grant another 9 to 10 Million Dollars to help small businesses. Community Services Director Kim Neimer says Summer day camps will start June 8th, so parents can go back to work.The Aquatic Center is only available for the day camps. The library is now offering curbside service.
