Speed limits will be reduced on Interstate Five through the Redding to Anderson Six Lane Project. A limit of 55 miles an hour will be in effect on both the northbound and southbound sides from south of Deschutes Road in Anderson nearly to the South Bonnyview exit in Redding. Crews are performing the last lift of rubberized hot mix asphalt. It’ll start Wednesday and remain in effect through the end of June. The CHP will strictly enforce the speed limit, with double fines in effect due to being in a construction zone.
