Shasta County’s Coronavirus count is now at 47 after Tuesdays report of a man in his 60s with no symptoms. 4 people have died and 7 are in isolation, one of them hospitalized. 15 people are quarantined due to possible exposure. Tehama County reported an additional case Wednesday and is up to 12 cases with one fatality. Trinity County has had two. Butte County reported 2 additional cases Wednesday for a total of 73, with one death. Humboldt County is up to 112, with two deaths. There have now been 14 in Siskiyou County, 47 in Del Norte County, 21 in Glenn County and another one in Lassen County for a total of 9. There are still none reported in Modoc County.
Public health officials say that as the public intermingles, everyone should take the time to get tested, which can be done for free at a Covid testing station at Shasta College or at the Red Bluff Community Center or at Corning High School.
