The Coroner’s Office has released the name of a man who died in a crash west of Shingletown on November 29th. A little after 3 O’clock, a 2005 GMC Envoy was eastbound on Highway 44 near Boulder Ridge Trail when the driver, 40-year-old Thomas Adam Sharrah of Cottonwood, lost control on a curve, crossed the opposing lane, left the road and collided with a telephone pole. The pole sheared off at the base and the SUV kept going until it struck a Pine Tree. Sharrah was wearing a seatbelt, but he suffered major injuries and died at the scene.
