Shasta county reported over 200 cases of COVID-19 over the weekend and an additional death. A man in his 50’s died from the virus bringing the total to 59. 116 new cases were reported on Friday and another 108 on Saturday for a total of 6,777 cases. Public health revised the total number of reported cases down by 76 due to a typographical error. The ICU capacity remains at 29%, and hasn’t yet hit the 15% mark that would impose a stay home order. Currently 61 people are hospitalized and 14 are in the ICU. There are an estimated 562 active cases in the county. There have been over 102,000 total tests conducted in Shasta County.
Tehama County has had 2,472 cases and 31 deaths.
Trinity County has had one fatality among 231 cases.
There have been 914 in Siskiyou County with 7 deaths.
4,912 cases have been reported in Butte County with 67 deaths.
Glenn County has had 1,183 cases and 12 deaths.
Humboldt County has had 1,195 cases and 10 deaths.
Lassen County has now had 4 deaths among their 858 cases in the community and one death among the 2,269 cases in prison.
Modoc County has reached 249 cases.
