A large outbuilding was heavily damaged by fire at a West Redding home Monday night. Just after 11 O’clock Redding Fire Department was called to 2036 Butte Street about 2 blocks west of the courthouse. They found the unoccupied building well involved with flames and quickly extinguished it. Damage is estimated at $75,000 for the structure and $2,000 for contents. The cause remains under investigation.
