Input Sought On Water Projects

A series of online workshops has been underway by the California Water Commission, with each of them designed for a different region of the state. Tuesday is the workshop for Northern California. The discussion involves water conveyance, as major conveyance structures are aging, damaged by subsidence and in need of repair. Designing new connections for water will need to differ from historic infrastructure in order to adapt to the challenges of climate change. The commission needs public input as they consider funding for different projects. A variety of perspectives is being sought. Today’s (Tuesday) workshop is from 2:30 to 5.
